Co-Chair
Hello everyone! My name is Francesca Lungu, and I am excited to serve as your Bone Marrow Committee Co-Chair. I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. In my role on the Bone Marrow Committee, I also have the privilege of being a campus ambassador for the Gift of Life organization. This mission is incredibly close to my heart, as it focuses on expanding the registry of potential stem cell donors to save the lives of cancer patients. It’s a wonderful cause that has greatly influenced my decision to pursue the pre-med path, helping me find my "why" in the medical field. I encourage everyone to get involved and volunteer—it’s an amazing opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life. Whether you’re interested in volunteering or have any questions about the process, feel free to reach out to me. I’m always here to chat, so don’t hesitate to email me if you need anything!

Hi everyone! My name is Ryan Watkins and I look forward to serving as your Bone Marrow Committee Co-Chair. I am perusing my B.S in Biological Sciences with a minor in Neuroscience. I plan on applying to medical school here shortly, following my aspirations of becoming a physician. Throughout my experience with A.E.D I have been privileged to be a Campus Ambassador for the Gift of Life organization. We are an organization dedicated to providing the opportunity for anyone to be a possible life-saving donor for cancer patients. Alongside working directly as a Medical Assistant for an Orthopedic Surgical clinic, my passion for raising awareness of overall health, diet, and cancer related illnesses has grown significantly. It has stimulated a cause for action within myself on the type of physician I want to be for patients. It has influenced my commitment to be more connected within our local Las Vegas community – and eventually nationally. I’m always open for collaborations, talking about essentially anything, and learning about new things and people!

Hi everyone! My name is Angelina Hernandez. I am a Biology major with a pre-professional concentration. After graduating from UNLV, I plan to continue my education by pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy. Ideally, I would love to work with athletes and geriatric patients. I was born and raised in Las Vegas. While I love my city, I also love traveling to new places. During my free time, I enjoy hiking, going to the gym, watching movies, and spending time with my family and friends. Soccer has always been a big part of my life as I played for 14 years. Now, I love watching games with my family. I am honored to be a part of the Bone Marrow committee, and I’m beyond excited to do my part to serve our community!
