Volunteer at Three Square Food Bank
Having trouble lining up your schedule to the times we host our events? No problem!
Our Public Health Committee is happy to offer volunteering oppurtunities through the Three Square Food Bank. Choose a time and date that works for you, serve our community, and submit proof of your activity using the hour redemption google form below, and earn your AED volunteering hours at the same time.

Semester Long Donation Drives
Semester Long Donation Drives
Several of AED's committees host semester long-donation drives to support our local community. Donating to one of our drives is a great way to receive humanitarian hours that count toward your semester requirements.
Please note: You can earn a maximum of 5 humanitarian hours per semester by donating to one of our drives. Oppurtunities for extra hours related to drives may include dispersal of donations or volunteering with the same agency, which will be stated in our newsletter/calendar if applicable.

Accepting donations for the duration of the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semester.
Donate hygiene and first aid items to support our committee in packing/creating 300+ kits for our local unhoused communities.
If you purhcase any one item on the Amazon wishlist, you will recieve 5 volunteering hours. Extra hours will be available when we package the kits.

Donate lightly used Adult sized clothing and shoes for Adult patients at Sunrise Hospital
Receive 1 volunteer credit per item (max of 5 volunteer credits for donations)
Contact Aarron at 702-334-8626 to meet on campus M/W (8:30-5:30 PM)
Email or text Aarron (mangia2@unlv.nevada.edu) to receive more volunteer hours by packing the clothes with me at the hospital (limited spots)

Accepting donations for the duration of the all 2026 and Spring 2027 semester.
Donate any used adult, child, or infant clothing for dispersal via Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada. Male adult clothing is preferred, but all donations are appreciated.
Donation of one filled trashbag of clothes will earn you 5 volunteering hours.
Donate specific items deemed items of high demand for the unhoused, such as baby food, diapers, socks, travel soap, and more. Please see flyer for specific items requested and their corresponding hour reimbursement.

Humanitarian Hours Outside of AED
AED is excited to offer members the oppurtunity for outside humanitarian hours in addition to our planned AED volunteering events.
To redeem outside humanitarian hours, please provide proof of the activity (ex: proof of completion through a time in/time out system or signed proof) to ensure that no financial compensation occurred. Email VP Natalia at nowakn1@unlv.nevada.edu or any AED board member to redeem your hours toward your semester requirements.
