​Hi, I'm Truong! I'm a biology major at UNLV, on track to become a dentist. When I'm not hitting the books, you'll find me working out, building model kits, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Hey, everyone! I'm Dylan Pham, a second-year Applied Health Sciences major on a pre-dental track. Outside of stressing for ochem and anatomy, I love to sing and play the guitar with my brother, play basketball, and root for the Lakers. I'm super excited to serve on the AED Dental Committee as I move further into my pre-dental journey, and I am looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hello everyone! My name is Purnima Neoupane, and I am a third-year student at UNLV pursuing a career in dentistry. What I love most about dentistry is how personal and hands-on it is. It allows you to build trust with patients, relieve pain, restore confidence, and see the impact of your work almost immediately.

Working in dental settings has made me appreciate how dentistry blends science, precision, creativity, and patient care in a way that feels very meaningful to me. I especially enjoy the idea of following patients over time and becoming someone they can feel comfortable with, not just someone they see when something hurts.

I am also passionate about expanding access to dental care for underserved communities, which is something I hope to continue through my nonprofit and throughout my future career. I am excited to be part of AED’s Dental Committee, connect with other pre-dental students, and help create opportunities that make dentistry feel more accessible and exciting for our members.
