Fundraising

Hello everyone! My name is Nayeli, and I am honored to be one of AED’s Fundraising Committee Chairs. I am a fourth year pre-med student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in hopes of becoming a future psychiatrist. Ever since I was really young, I have fostered a love for all things literature; in other words, the English minor chose me! I am incredibly passionate about utilizing reading and writing/journaling as relaxing and resourceful tools that can heal the psyche. My favorite season is autumn, and so a lot of my hobbies are centered around warm, cozy, and outdoor-sy activities such as curling up with a good cup of tea and a book, doing some yoga in the morning sun, or just enjoying the smell of spiced sugar when I’m baking with family and friends. I’m looking forward to contributing lots of spirit, empathy, and commitment above all to AED’s Fundraising Committee for semesters to come! P.S. Here’s me volunteering at one of my favorite places in Vegas, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum; you can catch me there at least five times throughout the semester!
